As we approach the end of the year, there continues to be exciting developments for the company. Here’s a few of the big announcements that grabbed the headlines for November and December.

BPC is thrilled to have won two major clients in Vietnam. Cake, a digital banking platform launched in early 2021, backed by ride-hailing app Be and VPBank, partnered with BPC and Radar Payments to accelerate its digital transformation. The news of Cake’s launch in Vietnam was covered in multiple media outlets throughout Europe including The Paypers and The Fintech Times.

It was also featured in Yahoo with Minh-Ha Truong, Radar Payments Regional Director for Indochina, highlighting the benefits of BPC’s technology. "We are excited to help Cake provide a seamless and efficient experience for their customers and to roll out new services at ease while minimising upfront investment,” she told the media.

The Vietnamese press covered the story as well including VN Express, VnEconomy and Vietnam Investment Review.

Saigon Commercial Bank (SCB) was BPC’s second client win in the country this month. As the bank’s solution partner, we will provide hyper-personalised services for customers. In Finextra, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nha Nam, Deputy CEO of Operation and IT Division of SCB said: “With BPC, we are working alongside a partner with a strong understanding of our market and a comprehensive and extendable platform that will help us accelerate our digital transformation to deliver a superior customer experience. ”

The news of this partnership also appeared in IBS Intelligence and Fintech & Finance News, as well as local press outlet Bao Dau tu Chung khoan.

On the other side of the world, BPC was awarded the Leading Payments Technologies Service Provider 2021 at the Ghana Fintech Awards in Accra, where key stakeholders in the sector gathered.

In the Expert Eye section of Africa Outlook, Frank Molla, Managing Director and Head of Sub-Saharan Africa at BPC, explored how Africa is going digital at an ever-increasing rate: “60 percent of Africans are predicted to have access to banking by 2025, with over 90 percent using mobile wallets for online transactions and remittances.”
