The news of Cake’s launch in Vietnam was covered in multiple media outlets throughout Europe including The Paypers and The Fintech Times.

It was also featured in Yahoo with Minh-Ha Truong, Radar Payments Regional Director for Indochina, highlighting the benefits of BPC’s technology. The Vietnamese press covered the story as well including VN Express, VnEconomy and Vietnam Investment Review.

Saigon Commercial Bank (SCB) was BPC’s second client win in the country this month. As the bank’s solution partner, we will provide hyper-personalised services for customers. On the other side of the world, BPC was awarded the Leading Payments Technologies Service Provider 2021 at the Ghana Fintech Awards in Accra, where key stakeholders in the sector gathered.

In the Expert Eye section of Africa Outlook, Frank Molla, Managing Director and Head of Sub-Saharan Africa at BPC, explored how Africa is going digital at an ever-increasing rate: “60 percent of Africans are predicted to have access to banking by 2025, with over 90 percent using mobile wallets for online transactions and remittances.”
